Automating warehouses by linking many robots through one cloud
Expansion — growing adoption of automated warehouses (ASRS) on top of its base of picking-assist robots in Japan
- As of July 2026 the company said it has more than 270 employees on a consolidated basis, about 180 of them at its Japanese entity (company profile). Besides its Tokyo headquarters, it has sites in Osaka, Chennai in India, and Schaumburg, Illinois in the US.
- In a survey by Deloitte Tohmatsu MIC Research Institute, its picking-assist robot PA-AMR held a 55.6% share of the transport AMR segment in fiscal 2025, and the company said cumulative deployments have passed 80 facilities and 1,000 units (announced October 2026).
- On September 25, 2026, at the Japan Startup Awards, it received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award (university-originated startup category) for its fleet control technology that controls many types of robots from multiple manufacturers at the same time.
Decisions within a year
- Adoption by NX Group on October 20, 2026 it said its flexible automated warehouse Rapyuta ASRS had started operating at two logistics facilities of the Nippon Express group. The approach keeps the existing warehouse management system and workflows while expanding step by step.
- Adoption by Logisteed on October 7, 2026 it announced that Rapyuta ASRS, using an existing mezzanine structure, will be introduced at Logisteed East Japan's Kashiwa site in Chiba Prefecture, with operation scheduled for May 2027.
- US market at MODEX 2026 in April 2026 it presented, with live demonstrations, a higher-performance ASRS and a PA-AMR with added accuracy features.
People they will look for
- Robot fleet control and cloud platform software engineer — technology that links robots from multiple manufacturers on one platform is the core of the company
- Logistics automation solutions and deployment engineer — work designing ASRS at the sites of large logistics operators such as NX and Logisteed and leading them through to operation is growing
- Hardware and mechatronics engineer — improving the performance of the ASRS, built from thin shuttle robots and modular racks, and installing it on site
For hiring managers
Korean logistics automation companies, the automation units of large retail and logistics groups, and robot startups are looking for the same fleet control and logistics systems talent. With people from more than 20 countries working together, the company is also open to Korean candidates who can work in Japan.
For job seekers
Experience designing and introducing AMRs or automated warehouses in logistics centers, or software experience in routing and task allocation for multiple robots, is what this company values most right now. No Korean office has been confirmed, so plan on the basis of working in Tokyo.
