GMP-grade plant dedicated to eye drops that offers technology transfer, commercial manufacturing, aseptic filling and analytical testing. It has aseptic compounding with batches of up to 2,000 L, a bottle-filling line running 250 units per minute inside an aseptic isolator, and a rotary blow-fill-seal filler for 30,000 ampoules per hour.

Plant at 216 Sandan-ro, Danwon-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, which also houses the formulation research lab of the Samil research institute.

Single-use, preservative-free brinzolamide and timolol maleate eye drop for glaucoma, developed by the company's Samil Eye Innovation Center (SEIC) and launched in Korea on 1 April 2026.

Eye-drop suspension for inflammation and pain after eye surgery, developed by Formosa of Taiwan and approved by the U.S. FDA and Health Canada. Samil signed exclusive distribution and sales agreements for Korea in January 2026 and for Vietnam in June 2026 and is preparing approval and launch.

Launched Elafree, a preservative-free brinzolamide and timolol maleate glaucoma eye-drop suspension, in Korea and held a launch symposium on 11–12 April attended by about 130 glaucoma specialists.

Signed a memorandum of understanding on North American cooperation with U.S. ophthalmic drugmaker KC Pharmaceuticals, starting with talks on North American distribution of its Eyetuo Mini eye drops.

Samil's Vietnamese subsidiary signed an exclusive license with Taiwan's Formosa to distribute and sell APP13007, an eye drop for post-surgical inflammation and pain, in Vietnam, following the exclusive Korean agreement in January 2026.
