GlobalFoundries begins U.S. manufacturing shipments for Navitas Gen 5 GaNFast
Navitas announced that first shipments of its fifth-generation GaNFast technology manufactured in the United States through its GlobalFoundries partnership would begin in September, using GF’s U.S. 200mm manufacturing baseline.
Why it matters
The partnership establishes a U.S.-based manufacturing source for Navitas Gen 5 GaNFast devices and is intended to support power conversion for AI infrastructure and other critical applications.
