BANSEOG OUTLOOK

Ajinextek's business has grown to the size of the box customers hand it

Ajinextek began as Ajin Electronics Industry in 1995 and describes itself as the first in Korea to make a dedicated motor control chip. Its history records registering as a SEMES supplier in the mid-2000s, then taking custom orders for controllers in wafer cleaning, photolithography and deposition equipment. In the 2020s it won orders for control boxes for industrial articulated robots and built a robot manufacturing site in Gumi. After first supplying industrial robot parts to Samsung Electronics in November 2023, its scope grew through contract manufacture of articulated robots, SCARA controller assembly, SCARA full sets and, in March 2026, assembly robots. Banseog reads this as the company's habit: take one board, deliver, and next time take a bigger box. The company now speaks of bringing controllers and core parts in-house. That is why Banseog sees putting its own chips and controllers inside the boxes it has been assembling as the next talent challenge.

Banseog analysis
The next company challengeKeep the trust earned by building robots to customers' designs, while bringing 30 years of chip and control technology inside those robots, so that contract manufacturing and in-house controllers become two stages of one business.
Questions before joining
  1. Does this role sit in chip and controller products or in robot contract manufacturing?
  2. How far can we change a robot built to the customer's design?
  3. When and by whom is the decision made to use an in-house controller?
The box gets biggerThe quality a full set demands

Unlike boards or controllers, full-set delivery brings responsibility for assembly, testing and shipping together. Quality systems at the level of a whole robot may become important.

Bringing controllers in-houseOwn technology inside an ordered product

The company speaks of bringing controllers and core parts in-house. Design that decides how far to switch to its own controller while keeping customer requirements may become important.

Control for assembly workControl that reaches the fingertips

Assembly can involve force and sequence as well as position. The ability to move long-held motion control skills into control of assembly work may become important. These are conditional stages, not confirmed dates or hiring plans.

CAREER LENS

Experience taking one more step of scope and owning it to the end

Beyond building a given design well, look for times you made a customer hand you the next job. Adjacent experience suggests connections, not eligibility or a personal-fit verdict.

Experience to show in your career history

✓

Developing a motion controller or embedded board through to production

✓

Assembling and testing robots or equipment built to customer designs

✓

Improving the cost or quality of a contract product and proposing it

✓

Replacing an imported controller with an in-house one

✓

Handling a customer's quality audit

✓

Redefining responsibility boundaries as delivery scope grew

Where adjacent experience can lead

Semiconductor equipment control

Working with equipment control sequences can lead to robot control.

Appliance and electronics contract manufacturing

Bringing customer designs to production quality is the connection.

Fabless and embedded design

Experience designing control chips and firmware.

Machine tool control

Multi-axis synchronized control can lead to motion control.

Industrial robot assembly and testing

Experience assembling and calibrating robot sets.

Manufacturing quality management

Moving customer criteria into processes.

How to test this outlook

If the robot business stays in contract manufacturing and in-house controllers head to other markets, revise this reading to growing manufacturing and product skills separately over linking them.
