BANSEOG OUTLOOK
NAU Robotics gets the factory ready before the order arrives
NAU Robotics is an industrial robot maker founded in 2016 by CEO Lee Jong-ju after 12 years at Hanyang Robotics. Ahead of its 2025 listing, it set aside a large part of the planned proceeds for a factory and pushed a second plant. In January 2026 it bought Hanyang Robotics, the founder's old employer, and gained a plant of about 16,500 square meters, calling the deal a preemptive investment. It has also prepared robots made under design-and-supply terms for an overseas company. It finished the merger in June 2026 and set out a split of roles between Incheon and Naepo in South Chungcheong. Banseog reads a habit here: rather than adding facilities after a big order, the company readies them first and then goes after the order. That is why Banseog sees connecting ready factories to real volume as the next challenge.
- Which of Incheon, Naepo and the second plant does this role cover?
- By what criteria are plant plans connected to order outlooks?
- How far have the two companies' products and quality standards been integrated?
After the merger, each side can offer products to the other's customers. Sales that explain articulated and logistics robots to injection molding customers may become important.
The company has announced reducer patents and an industrial humanoid project built on a mobile dual-arm robot. Bringing in-house parts and new products into production processes may become important. These are conditional stages, not confirmed dates or hiring plans.
Current hiring comes from the existing verified data pipeline. This is a conditional talent and organization outlook, not a company hiring plan, personal-fit assessment or hiring-probability forecast. · 2026-11-01

CAREER LENS
Experience laying the line first and then filling it with volume
Beyond building robots, look for times you stabilized production while starting up or combining plants. Adjacent experience suggests connections, not eligibility or a personal-fit verdict.
Experience to show in your career history
Handling the startup of a new plant or line
Integrating the production methods or quality standards of two organizations
Moving a prototype into a mass production process
Responding to the quality needs of design-and-supply customers
Lowering cost by bringing reducers or drive parts in-house
Handling automation at injection molding or auto parts plants
Where adjacent experience can lead
Experience with take-out robots and molding processes can connect to the company's roots.
Building assembly automation lines is the connection.
Experience with articulated and SCARA mechanics and control.
Designing or making gears and harmonic drives.
Handling facility startup and staffing.
Selling equipment to local plants and supporting them.
