Chemical drug contract development and manufacturing service covering formulation development, clinical supply manufacturing, analysis, registration and commercial production; it makes tablets, ointments, creams, solutions and sterile products under KGMP, from small clinical batches to large-scale output.

Holds a portfolio of about 670 medicines, including in-house incrementally modified drugs and approved generics, and exports about 250 products to 20 countries including Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Peru and Algeria.

Manufacturing sites are in Jeonui-myeon, Sejong and Bio Valley, Jecheon, North Chungcheong; the central research institute is in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, and the head office in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Subsidiary Genupharma launched Telopinset Tablet, a telmisartan, amlodipine besylate and chlorthalidone triple combination for hypertension in three strengths, for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled on telmisartan plus amlodipine.
