BANSEOG OUTLOOK
Everybot's next design ships under someone else's name
Everybot began with a mopping robot vacuum in 2016 and grew into a home cleaning robot brand. According to Korea IR Council research, the share of sales from finished goods it brings in from outside makers and refines in function and design rose from 28.9% in 2024 to 53.3% in the first quarter of 2026. Over the same period, its own autonomous driving module entered SK Intellix's NAMUH X wellness robot and reached about 20.6% of first-quarter 2026 sales. Banseog reads the brand and the design work as moving into different places. Where the Everybot name shows, the work of choosing and refining grows; under another company's name, the work of design and supply commitments grows. Separating the standards and people for these two jobs is the next talent challenge.
- Is the first customer of my work a consumer or another company's development team?
- Does this role sit in in-house designed products, outside makers' products or supplied modules?
- When a customer changes a specification, who resets schedule and testing?
The module carries LiDAR, distance sensor and camera technology, and analysts see potential for other service robots. A new customer may grow the task of setting the shared structure.
The subsidiary Everybot Mobility handles powered scooters and wheelchairs and has models eligible for national health insurance subsidies. Handling the standards for products that carry people may become a challenge. These are conditional stages, not confirmed dates or hiring plans.
