BANSEOG OUTLOOK

The radar is the same, but where the product ends differs by customer

With AIR4D, launched for autonomous vehicle companies in May 2026, bitsensing decided to hand over unprocessed radar signals as well. The company says many 4D radars are closed systems that make this data hard to use. Three months earlier it launched a driver-assistance kit that fits buses and trucks without changing the vehicle, signed a supply contract for more than 500 units with Korea Wide Group, and delivers it as a finished package down to the warning display. At intersections it places sensors bundled with servers, and in bedrooms a sleep sensor that reads breathing and heart rate. Banseog reads that, selling the rawest signal to one customer and the most finished warning to another, the next challenge is less radar performance than deciding how far the product goes for each customer.

Banseog analysis
The next company challengeWith one radar technology sold as raw signals, driver warnings, traffic monitoring and sleep information, define where each customer's product ends and what it covers, while protecting what is reused as common technology.
Questions before joining
  1. Does this role's product end at raw signals, perception results, driver warnings or a monitoring screen?
  2. How do you decide what splits by customer from the same radar technology?
  3. What indicator shows that the bus kit's warnings are actually used?
Opening raw signalsA market where customers build their own perception

If autonomous vehicle companies build their own models from raw signals, the company's work may move from delivering perception results toward supporting data quality and tools.

Buses on the roadRadar judged from the driver's seat

In its pilot the company evaluated driver usability alongside detection accuracy and response speed. As kits spread, deciding when a warning sounds and how installation and servicing run may matter together.

Markets with different buyersOne technology, different adoption paths

Traffic follows public projects, buses follow transport operators, and sleep follows senior care purchasing. Dividing what is common among them may become a task. These are conditional stages, not confirmed dates or hiring plans.

CAREER LENS

You have read both the signal waveform and the driver's reaction

Look for work with radar or sensor signals, and for times you checked results against what real users did. Adjacent experience suggests connections, not eligibility or a personal-fit verdict.

Experience to show in your career history

✓

Designing radar signal processing or antennas

✓

Improving perception by combining radar and camera

✓

Fitting equipment to buses or trucks and running field tests

✓

Tuning warning timing from user reactions

✓

Building tools and documents so customers could use raw data

✓

Handling proposals or operations for public transport projects

Where adjacent experience can lead

Automotive radar development

Work on production-grade radar can connect to the core technology.

Autonomous driving perception

Understanding what raw-signal customers need is the connection.

Commercial vehicle parts and servicing

Handling installation by vehicle type and field servicing.

Driver experience research

Testing warning methods and driver acceptance.

Intelligent transport systems

Working with urban traffic facilities and monitoring data.

Vital sign devices

Breathing and heart rate measurement and user testing can lead to sleep work.

Questions before joining

  1. Does this role's product end at raw signals, perception results, driver warnings or a monitoring screen?
  2. How do you decide what splits by customer from the same radar technology?
  3. What indicator shows that the bus kit's warnings are actually used?
  4. When a raw-signal customer's results are poor, how far does responsibility go?
  5. How is this role's time divided between common technology and customer development?

How to test this outlook

If the company concentrates on one market and separates others or hands them to partners, prioritize that market's specialist expertise over product boundary management.

Banseog analysis
01Are customer cases using AIR4D raw signals published?
02Does bus kit supply extend to other operators and to trucks?
03Do overseas traffic pilots become full projects?
04In what form does the sleep sensor enter senior care?
05How much hardware and software do products share across markets?
