FURSYS — from selling office furniture to running offices
- Where it stands now
- Business model transition — moving from a sales-centered model to one centered on subscription and management
FURSYS (separate basis) posted 2025 revenue of KRW 358.2 billion and operating profit of KRW 5.7 billion (operating margin 1.6%).
First-half 2026 revenue was about KRW 185.2 billion, similar to a year earlier (KRW 186.1 billion), and the debt ratio at the end of the first quarter was 12.9%, a solid financial structure.
According to Korea's National Pension Service public workplace data, the number of people on the pension register was 248 in August 2026, down 11 (4.3%) from October 2025. In that period 35 people joined and 47 left as the workforce was adjusted.
- Three decisions within a year
- Office subscription service: after adding rental and lease management to its articles of incorporation in March 2026, the company officially launched the service on July 29. On three-, four- or five-year contracts it handles installation, inspection, chair cleaning, layout changes and collection; for a 50-person office it costs about KRW 1.2–1.3 million a month instead of KRW 50–60 million to buy, and LG Electronics and Daehak Naeil were the first to adopt it.
- Push into Vietnam: the company has an experience showroom of about 100 pyeong and an office in Ho Chi Minh City, and is pursuing a Southeast Asia strategy of widening its dealer network and distribution partnerships based on local production (as reported in October 2025).
- Second-half 2026 entry-level open recruitment: the company hired for 11 roles in five areas — sales (domestic and overseas), R&D (product engineering and design), product planning, production (product technology, production, purchasing and quality) and logistics (installation, logistics management and service training) — and after a four-week internship the recruits joined in October.
- Three people it will look for
- B2B subscription sales and client management — a new role has emerged of winning three- to five-year contracts and managing client office spaces throughout the contract term
- Office service operations and logistics manager — someone is needed to run inspection, cleaning, layout changes, collection and circular management at a set quality
- Overseas sales (Southeast Asia) — the dealer network and distribution partnerships need to be widened using the Vietnam showroom as a base
- For HR
- Subscription sales and service operations talent overlaps with appliance and lifestyle companies offering rental and management services and with other office furniture companies. Now, as subscription contracts are just starting to build up, it is best to hire experienced people first who can design the operating system.
- For job seekers
- Experience in B2B rental and subscription sales, running facility and asset management services, and dealer sales in Southeast Asia is worth the most at this company right now.
