Where it stands now

Sales in the first half of 2026 were KRW 1.0288 trillion, up 9.2% from a year earlier and above KRW 1 trillion for a half-year for the first time; operating profit rose 42.7% to KRW 46.5 billion. US sales in the first half were KRW 931.1 billion, 90.5% of the total.

In the second quarter alone, sales were KRW 561.6 billion (+18.2%) and operating profit KRW 36.1 billion (+193%); fabric business sales were the highest ever for a quarter.

According to Korea's National Pension Service public workplace data, the company had 425 people on the pension register at its domestic workplaces in August 2026, 10 (2.3%) fewer than in October 2025. Over that period 143 people joined and 146 left, so staff turned over at almost the same headcount.

Three decisions within a year

1. Vertically integrated plant in Guatemala: since 2022 the company has been investing USD 170 million (about KRW 228.5 billion) in a production base that handles spinning, knitting, dyeing and sewing in one place; as announced in August 2026, trial operation is planned for the end of the year and full operation for 2027.
2. Expansion of fabric subsidiary Color & Touch: with its third plant in Vietnam it has reached a capacity of up to 150,000 kg a day, and on October 14, 2026 it ran a new-materials training session with Hyosung TNC for about 80 employees in Seoul, Guatemala and Vietnam, aiming to make more proposals tailored to US buyers.
3. Wider eco-friendly dyeing: the company plans to extend its 'Smart Pigment' dyeing process, which cuts water use by about 40%, to its Central American plants in the fourth quarter of 2026.

2. Fabric development and materials sales — must offer Color & Touch's added capacity to US buyers as differentiated materials
