Shinwon — Central American export plants and domestic brands growing together
- Where it stands now
- Recovery and expansion — regaining profitability after passing KRW 1 trillion in revenue
In 2025 consolidated revenue rose 16.3% to KRW 1.0922 trillion, passing KRW 1 trillion for the first time.
Second-quarter 2026 revenue of KRW 309.9 billion (+11%) exceeded KRW 300 billion in a quarter for the first time since the company's founding, and first-half operating profit was KRW 13.8 billion (+92%).
- Three decisions within a year
- Expanding Latin American production: the company increased its Guatemala plants to six at the end of 2025 and set out a nearshoring strategy of widening Latin American production infrastructure while making Asian production bases more efficient.
- Second-half plans: the company said it would raise productivity through AI-based production planning and supply chain management, and introduce the premium casual line 'FAHREN' at department stores and premium outlets.
- Share buyback: in July 2026 it decided on and carried out a KRW 4.0 billion purchase of its own shares.
- Three people it will look for
- Central America production subsidiary manager — must lead operations at the six Guatemala plants and line additions
- Production planning and SCM digital lead — AI production planning and supply chain management are being introduced
- Menswear brand merchandiser and retail sales — someone is needed to expand the FAHREN line in department stores and outlets
- For HR
- People who have run Central American plants are also sought by other large apparel OEM vendors. To keep pace with the second-half FAHREN expansion and the introduction of AI production planning, people need to be in place before year-end.
- For job seekers
- Experience running sewing plants in Central America, such as in Guatemala, and experience running a department store menswear brand, are worth the most at this company right now.
