Misto Holdings — A holding company moving from FILA alone to many brands
- Where it stands now
- Reorganization after restructuring — shrinking in the US and expanding through Greater China and new brands
In 2025, consolidated revenue was KRW 4.4686 trillion (+4.7%) and operating profit KRW 474.8 billion (+31.6%). In Q2 2026, revenue was KRW 1.4312 trillion (+16.6%) and operating profit KRW 295.2 billion (+62.3%), with most of the profit coming from the golf subsidiary Acushnet (Titleist).
The Misto segment, the FILA business, saw revenue fall to KRW 829.6 billion (−9.6%) in 2025 but returned to profit with operating profit of KRW 74.7 billion. Q2 2026 revenue was KRW 200.4 billion (−7.4%; +4.0% excluding the effect of the US restructuring).
On Korea's National Pension Service public workplace data, 70 people were on the pension register in August 2026, 5 more (+7.7%) than in October 2025. This figure counts only the holding company itself. Domestic FILA staff sit in the subsidiary Misto Korea (2025 revenue KRW 386.3 billion, operating profit KRW 84.3 billion), and overseas staff in each overseas subsidiary.
- Three decisions within a year
- US downsizing: from November 2024 it closed outlets at its North American subsidiary and cut staff (the businesses being wound down had 2023 revenue of KRW 261.9 billion). In 2025 the Misto segment was profitable for four consecutive quarters.
- Brand distribution in Greater China: by bringing K-fashion brands such as Matin Kim, Marithé + François Girbaud and Raive into China, it grew Greater China revenue by triple digits in 2025. It opened Juun.J stores in Chengdu in July 2026 and in Sanlitun, Beijing in August, and is preparing new brands to introduce for S/S 2027.
- Core FILA business and shareholder returns: in Korea it is growing footwear (Glio) and online, and in Q2 it opened a flagship in Malaysia and the first FILA 1911 store in Southeast Asia. In May 2026 it completed a KRW 10 billion share buyback and approved an additional KRW 5 billion.
- Three people it will look for
- Greater China brand business and MD — each added brand needs people to handle license negotiations, store openings and Xiaohongshu and Douyin operations
- Brand sourcing and licensing strategy — a role for the S/S 2027 new brands and the task of 'moving beyond a single brand'
- Domestic FILA footwear and online merchandising — footwear and online are the parts growing now (hiring is usually done by the subsidiary Misto Korea)
- For HR
- Hiring happens not at the holding company but at Misto Korea and the overseas subsidiaries. Each time a new brand comes in, a leader who can handle licensing, store openings and digital together is needed first, so it is best to secure candidates for that role in advance.
- For job seekers
- Experience bringing K-fashion brands into China or Southeast Asia and growing stores and online together fits this company's next stage best.
