LF — taking leading Korean brands overseas
- Where it stands now
- Expansion — with solid domestic results, opening overseas sales channels brand by brand
First-half 2026 revenue was KRW 927.3 billion (+4.7%) and operating profit KRW 88.5 billion (+19.0%). In the second quarter alone, revenue was KRW 465.4 billion (+2.1%) and operating profit KRW 44.1 billion (−0.4%).
The food division posted pre-tax profit of KRW 6.5 billion in the first half, a turnaround from a KRW 1.0 billion loss in the same period last year.
According to Korea's National Pension Service public workplace data, the number of people on the pension register was 893 in August 2026, up 6 (0.7%) from October 2025. In that period 268 people joined and 276 left.
- Three decisions within a year
- HAZZYS enters Hong Kong: on September 14, 2026 the brand opened its first store, about 20 pyeong in size, on the third floor of SOGO department store in Causeway Bay. It aims for six stores in Hong Kong within three years and plans to enter Thailand and India next year.
- More Dunst stores: the brand opened a Jeju flagship in July and a Seongsu, Seoul flagship (three above-ground floors, 75 pyeong) in September, and is running a long-term pop-up in Guangzhou, China, for about five months from the end of September to the end of February next year.
- Overseas channels for ATHE: in the US the brand sells mainly through Amazon and has widened offline sales into Olive Young's US stores. First-half overseas revenue grew about 2.3 times and US revenue 42 times, and entry into Malaysia and Hong Kong is being considered for the second half.
- Three people it will look for
- Overseas sales and local store operations — someone is needed to actually open the six HAZZYS stores in Hong Kong and the entry into Thailand and India.
- Brand retail and flagship planning — as with Dunst, flagships and long-term pop-ups at home and abroad keep coming.
- Global beauty e-commerce — someone is needed to grow ATHE's Amazon and local retail sales country by country.
- For HR
- Overseas fashion sales talent for Greater China and Southeast Asia is sought by other fashion and beauty companies expanding abroad. It is better to name local operations leaders now, before more Hong Kong openings and next year's entry into new countries.
- For job seekers
- A track record of establishing a Korean fashion or beauty brand in overseas department stores or on Amazon is worth the most at this company right now.
